An incredibly easy and flavorful dish that delivers tender, flaky salmon infused with a delicious honey garlic glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (5-8 oz. each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 ½ tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
  • Black or white sesame seeds
  • Green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder (or minced garlic). Stir well to mix.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Divide the marinade in half. Place the salmon fillets in a dish and coat with half the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Heat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Cook the Salmon: Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and baste with the remaining marinade before cooking.
  5. Air Fry: Cook the salmon for 7-8 minutes, or until it’s opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve: Transfer the cooked salmon to a plate and drizzle with any remaining marinade. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcook the salmon and use fresh ingredients for a stronger flavor. You can also experiment with the marinade.
