Ingredients
2 pounds chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 ounces cream cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Prepare the chicken by seasoning it with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
Combine the seared chicken in the slow cooker with the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
Add broccoli florets on top, pressing them gently into the liquid.
Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Add cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese about 15 minutes before serving. Stir well to combine.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For best flavor, sear the chicken before adding it to the slow cooker. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
