A delectable dessert combining the classic taste of chocolate chip cookies with a fudgy, pie-like texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix in a large bowl the almond flour, coconut flour, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine the almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Form a dough by gradually combining the wet and dry ingredients.
  5. Add in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Prepare a greased deep pie dish and press the dough down evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

Almond flour gives a nutty flavor; coconut sugar can be swapped for brown sugar. Use creamy almond butter for best mixing.
