Ingredients
700g Cubed Chicken Breast
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1.5 tsp Black Pepper
2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Salt
30g Cornflour
50ml Light Soy Sauce
50ml Water
25g Honey
40g Gochujang Paste
Thinly sliced Cucumber
20ml Light Soy Sauce
10ml Rice Vinegar
Chili Flakes (optional)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken Coating: In a large bowl, mix the cubed chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, salt, and cornflour until every piece is well coated.
Cook the Chicken: Heat a drizzle of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the coated chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
Make the Glaze: In another bowl, combine the light soy sauce, water, honey, and gochujang to create a glaze.
Glaze the Chicken: Pour the glaze over the cooked chicken in the pan and stir to coat evenly.
Prepare the Pickled Cucumbers: In a bowl, mix cucumbers with light soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili flakes, garlic powder, and sesame seeds.
Serve: Serve the chicken hot, accompanied by the pickled cucumbers on the side.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure the chicken cooks evenly. Use a thermometer to check for doneness.
