A delightful and whimsical no-bake fudge perfect for Halloween, featuring vibrant layers of chocolate and customizable colors.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Red food coloring
  • Black food coloring
  • Edible glitter (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking dish by lining an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a medium saucepan with half of the sweetened condensed milk over low heat until melted and smooth.
  3. Add half of the vanilla extract and salt, mixing until well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  4. Cool the dish in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to set slightly.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in another saucepan with the remaining sweetened condensed milk over low heat until melted and smooth.
  6. Color the white chocolate mixture by adding red food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
  7. Spread the red mixture over the semi-sweet chocolate layer uniformly and refrigerate for another 15 minutes.
  8. Prepare the black layer by melting more white chocolate with the remaining sweetened condensed milk and adding black food coloring.
  9. Pour the black mixture over the red layer, smoothing it out as needed to evenly distribute.
  10. Final touches can include sprinkling edible glitter on top for an extra spooky effect.
  11. Chill the fudge in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set completely.
  12. Cut into squares and serve once set, lifting it out of the pan using the parchment overhang.

Notes

Use low heat while melting to avoid burning the chocolate. Allow layers to set slightly before adding the next for distinct colors.
